We have been househunting and when we stepped into this -untouched since the 70s- property we nearly keeled over.

It was like stepping into a time warp ... 70s forest scene feature wall, original kitchen and fittings, and (bottom photo) an original (replica) tulip table and casala-esque chairs.

yesterday Anna coloured in the bow & did the filagree. we were hoping to get it ALL done, but the phone kept ringing! going back in 10 days to get the roses, cameo & heart done.

.. combining all of my favourite elements ... red roses, fancy embroidered heart & a big bow. i'm in love with it. still have to go back and have it coloured.

we went to a neighbouring town on a day trip. lots of autumn blue sky and colourful leaves.

we went bowling over easter with some friends. fortunately the local bowling alley is still stuck in the late 70s/early 80s in our town.

This is cheese bread, Brazilian style. Its a specialty in Brazil that you can buy on every street corner. Not found in Australia unfortunately. Husband whipped some up the other night.
